Terms
Last updated: 1. 9. 2026
These are the terms for using Capelca. They are written to be read once, in full, in about four minutes.
What Capelca is
A planning tool for bands: dates and who is coming, songs and setlists, a public page for your band, enquiries from promoters, and what everyone is owed. It is operated from the Czech Republic.
Your account
One account per person, and it is yours — do not share it. You sign in with a link sent to your e-mail address, so keep that mailbox secure: whoever can read it can sign in as you. Sign-in links last thirty minutes and work once.
You must be at least 16, or have a parent's agreement.
Bands and who can see what
A band is run by its leaders. They can invite and remove members, change roles, and edit anything the band holds. If you join a band, its leaders can see what you put into it — your answers to dates, your notes, your fee. Your calendar is the exception and is covered in the privacy page: your band sees whether a date clashes for you, never what it clashes with.
A band's public page is only visible once somebody publishes it, and it can be unpublished at any time.
What you put in
Your material stays yours. We do not claim it, sell it, or use it to train anything. We store and display it so the application can do its job, and that is the whole of the licence you give us.
You are responsible for having the right to upload what you upload — recordings, photos, sheet music, someone else's contact details. Do not put anything here that is illegal, or that you would not be comfortable defending.
Free and Kapela+
The free plan has limits — how many bands you can start, how many members and songs, how much file storage. When you reach one, nothing is deleted and nothing is locked: you are told, and offered the larger plan.
Kapela+ is billed monthly or yearly through Stripe and renews until you cancel. Cancel whenever you like and it runs to the end of the period you have paid for. Prices can change, and if they do we will tell you before it affects you.
E-mail and SMS
We send you what the application is for: sign-in links, invitations, reminders about your own events, and the occasional message about the service itself. Reminders can be turned off in Nastavení. SMS is sent only if your band switches it on and you have given a number.
Stopping
Delete your account in Nastavení at any time. We can close an account that is being used to break the law or to harm other people, and if we do we will say why.
What we do not promise
Capelca is provided as it is. We work to keep it running and correct, and we do not guarantee it will never be down or never be wrong. Keep your own copy of anything you could not lose — a setlist you rely on for Saturday should also exist somewhere that is not us.
As far as Czech law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses — a gig that did not happen, a booking that fell through. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited, and if you are a consumer your statutory rights are unaffected.
Changes and law
If these terms change in a way that matters, we will tell you by e-mail before it takes effect. They are governed by Czech law, and Czech courts decide any dispute.
